Bushkill Park

About the Park:

Located 3 miles west of Easton, Pa., Bushkill Park has been in operation since the 1920s, outlasting larger local amusement places, such as Island Park (Easton) and Oakland Park (Bethlehem). In 1933, Thomas Long (1885-1965) leased Bushkill Park, furnishing it with the carousel that he and his father had hand-carved in Philadelphia in 1903. Long bought the park in 1939 and operated it for the rest of his life with his wife, Mabel ³Mom² Long, who operated it until her death in 1989. The park, without the cherished Long carousel, has since reopened under the ownership of William Hogan.

Offeringing only a handful of attractions, Bushkill Park is open sporadically during the summer. Your best bet is to call ahead for park hours at (610) 258-6941.
