Late Night Eateries
Driving back to the Lehigh Valley from a Broadway show is sure to make most people hungry, and for those who didn't stop to eat in New York, or somewhere along the way, here's what the skew staff uncovered:
Three votes for The Trivet on Tilghman St.
The coffee is ALWAYS excellent. Go really late and Donna will keep you in line. Ask her nicely and you may get a milkshake (they usually don't make them late at night). Ask for "steak fries with mozzarella cheese and gravy..." delicious!
The Chicken Lounge, on Hamilton Boulevard
Tiny little place with excellent buffalo wings, REAL buffalo burgers and live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
Perkins, anywhere
Need we say more? Catch them on MacArthur Road at Rt 22, 512 and 22, Cedar Crest and Hamilton Boulevards, ...
Call Dominos!
Denny's is okay.
They have good vanilla milkshakes, and when you thwock the bottom of the glass with your fingernail, it makes a uniquely appealing noise. Late at night, this is sometimes reason enough.
